MewX is giving you a chance to meet the band in person during the upcoming European tour! If you are a ticket holder to at least one of the following shows, continue reading:
17 May: Paradiso, Amsterdam, Netherlands19 May: Point Ephémère, Paris, France20 May: Trix, Antwerp, Belgium21 May: Trinity Centre, Bristol, UK22 May: Ritz, Manchester, UK23 May: Shepherd’s Bush Empire, London, UK25 May: Luxor, Cologne, Germany26 May: Knust, Hamburg, Germany
This MewX-exclusive contest is valid only for these eight shows, and you may increase your winning chances if you are attending more than one show. Each show will have two winners who may also take a friend, so that will be maximum of four people (2×2) per show. Note that the prizes do not include concert tickets, so you must have them already or plan to get them soon. You have plenty of time, as the contest will end on the same day as Visuals album is released (April 28, 2017). Emails sent on April 29th or later will not be counted.
Because we don’t want to favour those frengers with more artistic talent than others, what we need from a contestant is very simple:
Send us an email to meetandgreet (at) mewx (dot) info with a subject that says “Meet & Greet” and the city or cities you are attending, i.e. Meet & Greet (London, Bristol). When we open the email, we want to see an attached photo that is related to Mew somehow. It can be a photo of your record collection, a live show photo, a tattoo, a reference to Mew lyrics, anything. You can be inventive if you like, but all photos get an equal shot and the winners are chosen by a random lottery. To repeat: if you attend two shows, you double your chances, and so on, and so on. In the email we also need your contact information (your name, email, phone number), so that the management of the band can reach you and arrange the meeting. Please only send us one photo (choose your best!)
Note: by sending the photo you also agree that MewX has a right to publish it in a collection of our personal favourites or use in promotional material for the site, whether or not it ends up winning.
Best of luck!!!
