Mew have been booked to Beatday Festival held in Copenhagen on August 14th-15th 2009. Beatday is a relatively small festival with less than 10 000 attendees and it was first established in 2007 when Mew were headlining the festival. There are two big stages at this Danish festival and at least 16 bands will be announced eventually. So far, Band of Horses, Arctic Monkeys, Basement Jaxx and Oh No Ono have been announced along with Mew, but more acts will be announced shortly at their official website. Tickets for the third annual Beatday Festival go on sale March 2nd.
